Visual Arts

In all visual arts courses, the students will learn to describe the origins of specific images and reflect on how artworks differ visually, spatially, temporally, and functionally. While experimenting with different media, from sculpture to paint, each student will also describe how these mediums and ideas are related to history and culture.

Digital Photography (grades 9-12)
Art 1: Introduction to Studio Art (grades 9-12)
Art 2: Fundamentals of Drawing & Painting (pre-requisite Art 1)
Art 3: Advanced Studio Art (pre-requisite Art 2)
AP Studio Art: 2D (pre-requisite Art 3 plus instructor’s permission)
